Stereo Champ was born out of May Inoue’s previous solo project with the same group members that produced the highly acclaimed May Inoue album titled ‘Stereo Champ’, released in 2017.
Stereo Champ is officially a band where all musicians are encouraged to contribute to the sound and direction, although May Inoue remains the principal composer on this album titled “Mono Light”. The album also features special guest vocalist, Kento Nagatsuka from the very popular progressive soul band WONK.
