‘NIJUSO‘ (duet) – bassist Hideaki Kanazawa and pianist Sumire Kuribayashi are prominent figures on Japan’s vibrant jazz scene. At this very special event they will perform songs from their repertoire as a duet, after which they will invite several talented students from the World Heart Beat Music Academy to perform alongside them. Students will have the opportunity to choose their favourite jazz standards and to improvise and spar with these seasoned professionals in duet, trio and quartet settings.
